John Downing Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Downing of Fremont, New Hampshire. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Downing and Grace Downing (Riley); his wife Lorraine Downing (Metevier); and his siblings, Charles Downing, Grace MacDonough, Paul Downing and Joan Cahee.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Blades (Donald), David Downing (Wendy), Mark Downing, Annmarie Liddell, Patty Stevens (Mike), Pam Valley and John Downing Jr.; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Downing, Kathryn Ransom, Stephen Downing, Larry Downing and Robert "Bob" Downing. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home (2 Epping St, Raymond, NH 03077). The military honors was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
