Elizabeth Derby Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Derby (Gilmanton, New Hampshire), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray E. MacDonald and Ruth E. MacDonald (Lamper); and her husband John E. Derby, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kendall Derby (Amy) of Fossil, James Derby (Chris Ann) of Waldoboro and Sue Derby (Tim Berry) of East Concord; and her grandsons, Seamus, Kyle and Jason Derby. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beech Grove Cemetery (611 Province Rd, Gilmanton, NH 03237).
