He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry and Mary Louise Platt (Goulet); his wife Rita Platt (Poulin); his son-in-law Dana Lunn; his son Robert H. "Bobby" Platt, Jr.; his grandson Nicholas "Nick" Platt; and his siblings, Jeanne Doolan, Eleanor Hook, John Platt and Hadley Platt.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Everette of Colebrook, Dana Platt of New Braunfels, Catherine Lunn of Gorham, NH, Sandra Hand (Jon) of Stewartstown, Dennis Platt (Dana) of New Port Richey, FL and Mark Platt (Dana) of Trinity, FL; and his sister Louise Charron (Dennis) of Groveton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
