It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette Jean Lessard of Hampton, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carroll M Fogg and Shirley E Fogg (Prince); and her husband John "Jack" Lessard. She is survived by : her brother Woodbury Fogg (Christine) of Belmont, NH; her stepdaughter Kathleen'Patty'Leary; her grandchildren, Christopher Leary and Abbygail Ritondale of Vermont; her niece Betsy Casano (Peter) of Morristown, NJ; her nephews, David Fogg of Enfield, NH, William Fogg (Paula) of Ashland, NH and Russell Fogg (Sara) of Franklin, NH; her close friend Chuckie'Marsden; and also Jack.

Bette also worked hand in hand with Jack, known only as the "Teddy Bear Man", to donate thousands of teddy bears to children in hospitals in Boston, at Dartmouth in Lebanon, NH, and to any family with a need.
