Diane (Betz) Tavitian Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Diane (Betz) Tavitian of Hampton, New Hampshire, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Diane left this world on September 26, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. Betz and Marga R. Betz (Krook). She is survived by: her husband David P. Tavitian; her sister Carolyn Betz Kerr of Niskayuna, NY; her sibling's children, Lila Kerr, Jack Kerr and Putnam Kerr; her sister-in-law Debbie Megrdichian (John) of Cranston, RI; her sibling's children, Melissa Megrdichian and Peter Megrdichian; her brother-in-law Daniel Tavitian (Tavitian); and her pets, Lucy and Ollie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Little Harbor Chapel (335 Little Harbor Rd, Portsmouth, NH 03801). Along with her MITAC team, she received a second Infinite Mile Award for Community Building in 2021, for creating an array of virtual talks during the pandemic, bringing a sense of connection and togetherness across the Institute.
