He was predeceased by: his parents, Bagdasar Arakelian and Marian Arakelian (Sarkisian); his brother Arthur Arakelian; his brother-in-law Paul Deeran; and his pets, Tazz and Plummer.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Arakelian (Azarian); his sons, John Arakelian, Jr. (Caroline) of Dover, NH, Gary Arakelian of Hampton, NH and Brian Arakelian (Lisa) of Hampton, NH; his grandchildren, Grace, Johnny, Brady and Mason; his sister Dorothy Deeran; his sister-in-law Marian Arakelian; and his pet Yogi.
