She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Purington and Hazel Purington (Chapman); her husband Robert L. Bennett; her daughter Ann Pecola; and her sister Constance Holman.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Bennett (Donna); her grandchildren, Aldana Knowles (Aria DeLong), Christopher Bennett (Alana), Timothy Knowles and Nicole Bennett (Zachary Hawkins); her son-in-law David Pecola; her siblings, Frances Paul and Marion Lamie; and her great grandchildren, Bennett, Jameson, Brewer and Hazel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
