He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peters and Eleanor F. Peters (Whidden); his wife Elva Peters (Sanborn); his grandson Eric Benedict; and his siblings, Sara Ahearne and Buddy Peters.
He is survived by: his fiancée Judith Erickson (Grammatic) of Hampton; his sons, Robert Peters (Christine) of Methuen, MA, Vaughn Peters (Mary) of Texas and Matthew Peters of Texas; his stepsons, Duane Benedict (Donna) of Methuen, MA, Kenneth Benedict of Methuen, MA, Curt Benedict (Andie-Jane) of Bradford, MA and Danny Bilodeau (Lina) of Sandown, NH; his grandchildren, Kelli, Alyssa, Wade, Anthony, Andrew, Korena, Calli, Chase, Cadence and Maverick; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Ariana, Scarlett, Jaydalie and Autumn; and his siblings, Robert Peters (Sheila) of Alabama, Earl Peters (Lois) of Newport, ME and Lucille Qualls of Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
