Monroe Jr. of Hanover, New Hampshire, born in Dunkirk, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his son Donald P. Monroe III (Teddy); his parents, Jean L. Washington of Warren, PA and Donald P. Monroe, Sr. of Dunkirk, NY; and his sister Janet L. Forsgren of Fort Lauderdale, FL.. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth A. Monroe (Beth); his granddaughter Caris McShinsky of Sharon; and his siblings, Jane W. Murphy of Avon Lake, OH, Susan W. Marshall of Baltimore, MD and Henry Monroe (Nick) of New London, NH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
