He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Wendy Chaves, Heather Williams (Chris Williams), Kevin Scheer (Jen Scheer), Douglas Scheer and Michael Scheer; and his siblings, Nancy McGarvin, Judy Slate and Robert Scheer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons.
