He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Nicholas and Phyllis Nicholas (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jean Nicholas (White); his daughter Christina Ciani of California; his son-in-law Michael; his grandsons, Jimmy, Christopher and Nick; and his brother Steven Nicholas (Sarah Nicholas). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
In keeping with his values and his lifelong belief in service, Dan made the generous decision to donate his body to the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine of NH in support of medical education and research.
