He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Heins and Marion Heins; his brother Frederick Heins (Fred); his family John Carter; his girlfriend Linda Murphy of Hudson; his children, Rick Heins (Robin), Jennifer Heintz (Clark) and Sonja Heins; the mother of his children Cheryl Heins (Stevenson); his grandchildren, Nicole Pascoe (Joshua), Amanda Dickinson (Ted), Krystal Searah (Shaun) and Joshua Heins; his daughter Kim Kapala (Fred); and his granddaughters, Michelle and Danielle.
