Nina R. Phelps Obituary

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nina leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nina may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Phelps; her brother Jay Pomponio (Lawrence Earle) of Brattleboro, VT; her stepdaughter Ruth Phelps of Framingham, MA; her sister-in-law Judith Finkel of Toledo, OH; and her parents, Albert Pomponio and Vera Stratton Pomponio. She was also cherished by many cousins and loving friends.
Handicapped by poor hearing and compromised eyesight and intestinal health, Nina still took on the responsibility of Bob's constant care as his Alzheimer's progressed.
