She was predeceased by: her parents, Tauno Puhakka and Weino Puhakka; her husband Freddie Beckmann; her sister Verna Schwelnus; and her son-in-law Benjamin Maack.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick Beckmann (Martha) of Greer, SC, Neil Beckmann (Brenda) of New Ipswich, NH, Laurel Maack of Bolton, MA and Linda McGuirk of Jaffrey, NH; and her sister Elizabeth Mayer. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
