He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert McCarty and Nina McCarty (Hodgdon); and his sister Penelope Maheu (Leonel "Lee" Maheu). He is survived by: his wife Helen Theresa (Bell); his sons, Raymond McCarty (Karen) of Londonderry, NH and Normand McCarty (Lucia Ewerton) of Lowell; his daughter-in-law Helen Wilson McCarty (John McCarty) of Sparta; and his grandchildren, Jason McCarty, Justin McCarty, Shannon McCarty-Drapcho, Kerry McCarty, James McCarty and Katie Sweet. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
