It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wallace Flanders (Keene, New Hampshire), born in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Flanders and Leona Bosely; his sister Carolyn Blanchard; and his nephew James Blanchard of Alabama. He is survived by: his daughters, Cherri Fowler (Rick) of Florida, Tracy Baker (Michael), Jodi Josephs (David) of East Falmouth and Ashley Moody (Michael) of Keene; his grandchildren, Spencer Grubb of Indiana, Eli Grubb, Kelly McDonnell, Phoebe Wells, Lily Barber (Matthew), Genevieve Josephs of Massachusetts, Briana Moody and Logan Moody of Keene; his father-in-law Bob Duckless of Brattleboro; and his nephew Francis Blanchard of Alabama.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel (44 Maple Ave, Keene, NH 03431-1628). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Monadnock View Cemetery (451 Park Ave, Keene, NH 03431).
