She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Keirstead and Alva Keirstead (Patten); her former husband Lawrence C. Barrett, Jr.; her sister Jean Knell; her brothers-in-law, David Knell and Paul Todd; and her grandson Steven Joseph Aivaliotis.
She is survived by: her husband Larry; her daughters, Margaret M. "Peggy" Higgins of Keene, Laura L. Aivaliotis (Steven) of Winchester, Pamela M. Strachan (Douglas) of Fishers, IN and Kelly A. Alessi (Michael) of The Villages, FL; her sister Joan Todd of Wrentham, MA; and her grandchildren, Ronald Higgins (Taylor), Rebecca Higgins, Sara Dingman (Ed), Bethany Magoon (Ross), Allison Murray (Nick), Alethea Aivaliotis, Owen Aivaliotis, Kelsey Strachan, Kyle Strachan, Rachel Bemis, Christine Aguilar (Isidro) and Megan Bonilla (Josh). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
