He is survived by: his children, Nathan Samson (Heather) of Easthampton, MA and Alyssa Fernholz (David) of The Woodlands, TX; his stepdaughter Jessica Guyette of Washington, D. C.; his grandsons, Jack, William and Benjamin; his parents, Wilfred Samson and Patricia Samson (Morrey) of Hatfield, MA; and his siblings, Raymond Samson (Anne) of Sunderland, MA, Robert Samson (Cindy) of Hatfield, MA and Lori Hannum (John) of Whately, MA. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scott Samson Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Franklin County Technical School (Turners Falls, MA) to support future entrepreneurs in machine trades.
