He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Aurora, William Devine, Marie and Norman Malmsten. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Sr. Malmsten and Rita Malmsten (Devine); his sister Amie Joy Malmsten (Glenn Krick) of Amesbury, MA; his nephew Trevor Charles Almon (Victoria MacMillian); and his great-niece Elizabeth of Brentwood, NH.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish, can make a donation to their favorite charity in Charles's memory.
