He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Magnusson and Ruth Magnusson (Stevens); and his brother Theodore "Ted" Magnusson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Magnusson of Kensington; his sons, Alan (Mary Magnusson), Kevin (Lisa Magnusson), Bob (Kris Magnusson) and Brian Magnusson; his grandchildren, Erica Panton, Hannah Magnusson, Cori Magnusson, Dana Geraghty, Jedediah Magnusson, Grace Magnusson and Jake Doolittle; his sister Amy Magnusson; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Conrad, Ezra Magnus and James Joseph (JJ). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
