He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Cunningham and Annie Cunningham (Farrell); his daughter Lorraine Reardon; and his siblings, Adeline, James and Irene.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Cunningham; his daughter Mary; his son-in-law Jack Wall; his son Lindsey; his daughter-in-law Bette Cunningham Jr.; his son James; his daughter-in-law Janet Cunningham; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Keith George; and his brother William Cunningham. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and generations of nieces and nephews.
