He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest MacDonald, Sr. and Ethel MacDonald (Diack); his wife Sandra A. MacDonald; and his siblings, Ernest MacDonald, Jr., Alfred MacDonald, Patricia Brunt, Yvonne Bristol and Janet Stall.
He is survived by: his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Sandie MacDonald; his grandchildren, Abigail (Mark Cordoza), Zachary Drouin and Cameron (Ashley Drouin); his great grandchild Lincoln Drouin; and his sister Rose Marie (Roger Allen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
