He is survived by: his children, Christopher Whitten of Laconia, NH, Chad Whitten (Shannon) and Angela Stimpson (Brian) of Deering, NH; his brother Linwood Whitten Jr. of Hobb Sound, FL; and his grandchildren, Brian Stimpson Jr., Candice Patterson, Brett Bourassa, Devin Whitten, Brandon Whitten, Tyler Whitten and Katlyn Whitten. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
