It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Bastraw of Laconia, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Chapman and Pearl Chapman (Higgins); her siblings, Lewis Chapman, Robert Chapman and Helen Ertenberg; and her daughter Peggy Hancock.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Bastraw of Laconia; her children, Michael Bastraw, Kristen Bastraw of Laconia and Barbara Reid (Bastraw) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Jennica, Jaimon Hancock and Caitlin Wayne (Hancock); her sons-in-law, Randy Hancock and John Reid; and her sibling's children, Marcia Cotter, Connie Baron of Laconia, Debbie Strankman, Jolynn Dobie, Robin Leming, Todd Chapman and Greg Chapman.
