He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Austin Chase and Cecelia Liberty Chase (Boucher); his brothers, Robert and Gene Chase Sr.; and his niece Linda Chase Poitras.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Evon Ingalls; his sibling's children, Betty Brown and Gene Chase Jr.; his godson George Chase; and his nephew John Chase. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
