He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F. Egan and Jean Egan (Shea); his wife Dawn Egan (Melvin); his siblings, Thomas Egan (Linda), Dennis Egan (Janet), Joseph Egan (Marie), Christopher Egan (Carrie) and Jean Belanger (Kevin); his siblings-in-law, Richard Melvin (Nena), Thomas Melvin (Jennifer), Onel Deflice, Louis Deflice (Dale) and Nancy Labranche; and his mother-in-law Patricia Deflice. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
For the those who wish, the family suggests memorial donations in John's name be made to the Meredith Police Department, 41 Main Street, Meredith, NH 03253, or to the Hospice Organization of one's choice.
