He was predeceased by: his parents, Aime Martel and Rachel Martel (Guyer); his wife Linda Martel (Ouellette); his son Jeffrey Martel; and his brothers, Patrick Martel and Richard Martel.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Martel (Danae Bryar) and Andrea Gelotte (Dana); and his siblings, Robert Martel, Roger Martel (Peggy) and LuAnne Kabachis (Jan). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
