He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carter and Arlene Carter (Barnett); his wife Marjorie Carter (Martel); and his brothers, Ernest Carter and Albert Carter (Ab).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Sleeper of Dorchester, Cheryl Carter of Concord and Lisa Carter of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Ryan Sleeper, Brittany Sleeper, Michelle Sanborn and Heather Sanborn; and his great grandchildren, Hailee Adjutant and Kaitlin Adjutant. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations in Richard's name may be made to one's favorite charity.
