He was predeceased by: his father James Lydon; and his sister Carol Cook (Lydon). He is survived by: his mother Jean Lydon of Marlboro, MA; his children, Sean Lydon of Saco, ME and Beth Regan (Paul) of Dayton, ME; the mother of his children Diane Lydon; his siblings, Jay Lydon (Sue), Joe Lydon (Betty), John Lydon (Alberta) and Ellen Oliveira (Paul); his brother-in-law Richard Cook; his grandchildren, Tyler Lydon, Brady Lydon, Acadia Regan and Finnegan Regan; Jocelyn Lydon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
