He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Hook and Edyth Hook (Woods). He is survived by: his wife Judith Elenora Burbank of Laconia, NH; his children, Cheryl Hook (Ken Downs), Douglas Hook (Kerry), Andrew Hook (Kim) and Amy Thurber (Peter); his grandchildren, Chris, Brendan, Norah, Cody and Ronald II (Kassi); his great grandchildren, Rylee, Kathryn, Tobi and Orion; and his brother Richard Hook (Shirley).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Ronald's memory.

“Dear Judy, I was so saddened by learning of Ron's death. You may or may not remember me, but I lived in the cottage for several years. They were among the happiest years of my life, living on the water, picking blueberries, welcoming so many birds to my bird feeder. And I was married while I lived there! You and Ron were the best "landlords" I ever rented from. I am now living in Florida where I'm enjoying the warmer weather. With love and hugs from Pensacola, FL! Karen Boyden Shastany”
