He is survived by: his wife Kathy Nary (Schweitzer); his son Zachary Hewes (Ashley); his grandchild Riley Xavier Hewes; his brothers, Thomas Hewes Jr. (Jean Parker) and Troy Hewes; and his parent Ann Bland (Richard). He is also survived by eight nieces and three nephews.
