She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Emery and Clara Emery; her former husband Dr. Robert Charman; and her brothers, Brian and Herman, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Norman Stoppenhagen; her sister Eleanor Malloy; her children, Catherine Goodwin (Christopher Goodwin), Dr. Charles Charman (Alison) and Christine Charman-Fothergill (John Fothergill); and her stepsons, Craig Stoppenhagen (Shelly) and Todd Stoppenhagen (Shannon). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to remember Cathy do so with a gift to the "Good Shepherd Building Fund" for equipping and decorating the new nursery or a charity of your choice.
