She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ruth and Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Andrew Canterbury; her children, Brenton Oakes (Paulinda Chapman) of Salinas, CA and Susan Oakes Peabody (Jon) of Franconia, NH; her granddaughter Lindsay Oakes of Forest Hills, NY; and her niece Sandra Upson Hartsfield of Geneva, NY. She is also survived by several grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
