It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Cavanaugh of Londonderry, New Hampshire, who passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Gilligan (Koschwitz); her husband Robert L. Cavanaugh; and her brother James Joseph Gilligan, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Marilee Tuomanen of Londonderry and Sheila Rose Sheehan (Gary) of Londonderry; her grandchildren, Mark Tuomanen of Londonderry, Timothy Sheehan (Corinne) of Falls Church, VA, Carly Rose Burke (Lucas) of Concord, NH and Kevin Sheehan (Erin) of Dover, NH; and her great grandchildren, Kate, Conor, Elizabeth and Josephine.
Memorial donations in Betty's name may be made to the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota, an organization supported by Betty and Bob Cavanaugh since 1950, which protects and preserves the cultures, traditions, and the living heritage of the North American Indians.
