With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elinor Cheney Thurber of Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on April 25, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Henry and Madeline Cheney (Rollins); her husband Allen Thurber of Manchester; her children, Douglas Thurber, Cynthia Pratte (Gregory) of Manchester, Scott Thurber of Manchester, SgtMaj William Thurber and Steven Thurber (Joanne) of Framingham, MA; her grandchildren, Nicole Lapointe (John) of Manchester, Matthew Pratte of Bow, Michelle Peterson (Eric) of Manchester, Alexander of Framingham, MA, Nathan of Framingham, MA and Maggie Mae Thurber of Framingham, MA; her children, Emma of Tampa, FL and Zachary Thurber of Tampa, FL; and her great grandchildren, Ellie and Reese Lapointe. She was also cherished by nephews, nieces and cousins.
