He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lemay and Mary Lemay (Bergeron). He is survived by: his wife Claire (Mailhot); and his children, Paula (Chris), Mark (late JoAnn), Carrie (Gary), Alan (Linda) and Peter (Maggie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
