He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Evelyn Smith and Edward Wright Harris; his son James; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Harris; his children, Connie Harris (Roger Whalon), Steve Harris (Kim), Fred Harris, Jr. (Becky), Tony Harris and Vincent Harris (Frank); his sisters, Gloria Welch, Elaine Horne and Donna Mitton; and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl McAvenia and Kathleen Bushnell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ste. Marie Church (378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, NH 03102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
