He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Montminy, Cathy Prince and Christopher Montminy; his sister Constance Gagnon; his grandchildren, Rhisa Dickson (Jeff), Kelsey Prince (Andrew Hall), Chad and Colby Montminy; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Wes and Alice.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Home (1799 Elm St, Manchester, NH 03104). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Manchester.

“Chris, Cheryl, Cathy so sorry for your loss George Sr. Was a guy who loved his family, hard worker ( sometimes juggling two jobs) as a fire fighter and a roofer climbing ladders all the time). Anyone knowing George from Stark Lane, boating on the river, frequent parties or from the Alpine Club, would all agree he was serious planner, easy to share a laugh, story and had the biggest, friendly smile. George will be missed by all who knew him. Finally time to rest. RIP Duane “Archie” Archambault”
