He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon H. Searles and Norma J. Searles (Newton); his significant other Susan Clement; his significant other's sons, Paul Clement and Joseph Fredette; and his siblings, Ernest (Searles), Stephen R. Searles, Rick Searles, Susan Graffam and Barbara Vaillancourt. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, in memory of Mr. Searles.
