He was predeceased by: his wife May (Self); his parents, John Wood and Helen Wood; his son James Wood, Jr.; and his siblings, Arnold "Dick" Sprague, Ramona Sprague, John Wood, Ella Jackson and Elsie Munson.
He is survived by: his son David Wood (Donna) of Manchester; his stepdaughter Amy DelVecchia of Moultonborough; his grandchildren, Teagan Cale, Hayden Cale, Jim Wood III, Scott Wood, Timothy Wood and Edward Wood; his great grandchild Catherine Wood; and his sister Rhoda Allen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
