He was predeceased by: his father Irwin Philbrook; his brother Gary; his granddaughter Maggie; and his pet Goldie. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Philbrook (Plummer); his son Stefan (Moira); his grandchildren, Lydon and Molly; his daughter Angela (Joseph Mokeski); his grandchildren, Nia and Matthew; his sister Joyce Jenkins (Jake); and his father-in-law Gordon Plummer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his name can be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester New Hampshire.
