He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Nalback); his wife Barbara J. McCarthy (Lingley); his sons, Thomas and James; his grandson Michael McCarthy; and his siblings, Joseph, Constance and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy J. McCarthy (Chris) of Gilford, NH, Kevin C. McCarthy (Rose) of Yakima, WA, Joseph T. McCarthy (Lisa) of Manchester and Barbara Davis (Ken) of Hooksett; and his siblings, John McCarthy (Dorothy) of Manchester and Mary Murray.
