He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander and Kathryn Kerr (Ryan); his sisters, Sandra Hudson (Kerr) and Brenda Smith (Kerr); and his daughter Melanie Kerr Gabree.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kerr (Young) of Manchester; his children, Jennifer Kerr (David Leland) of Arlington, VA, Sarah Kerr (Steven Petalas) of Manchester and Ryan Kerr (Jonatha) of Bedford, NH; and his grandchildren, Grace Bernatchez, Quinlan, Tristan Kerr, Alex, Will Gabree, Jack, Kate and Tommy Leland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
