He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hynes and Barbara Hynes (Kearns); his sister Barbara Hynes; and his significant other Yvette Dancause. He is survived by: his sisters, Kathleen Conneally of Manchester and Mary L. Hynes of Enfield; his nieces, Tara and Samantha; his nephew Colin (Stephen); and his great-niece Rowan.
