He was predeceased by: his parents, Etienne and Rose (Alma); his brothers, Kenneth Bisson and Albert Bisson; his stepson David Newton; and his daughter Jenny Bisson.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Bisson Jr. (Nancy) and Joanne (Ernest); and his brother Ed Bisson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
