She was predeceased by: her grandson Andrew Colon; her mother Juanita Clancy; her husband Ron Montplaisir; and her close friend Robert "Mugsy" Gingras. She is survived by: her daughter Heidi Gingras (Karen); her grandchildren, Liliana Colon (Ben Haines), Jose "Manny" Colon (Ava Millward) and Noah Colon (Tiana Dauwer); her father Edward Clancy; and her siblings, Lisa Marcoux, Tina Racicot (Ray Racicot), Russell Clancy (Carla Clancy), Lee-ann Clancy, Merle Shaw, Arthur Clancy (Mai Clancy) and Benjamin Clancy (Shannon Ouellette). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, "adopted" children and grandchildren.
In the end, she still continued to give by generously donating one of her organs to save another woman's life.
