He is survived by: his wife Yvette Sweeney; his son Ryan Sweeney; his daughter-in-law Alyssa; his mother Phyllis Sweeney (Scourakiz); his stepson Michael Clapp of Gilmanton, NH; and his siblings, Sharon Wrobel (Leo Ovilla) of Texas, Susan LaCourse (John) of New Hampshire and Robert Sweeney of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He generously created custom pieces for those close to him and actively contributed to various fundraisers through the donation of his artwork.
