He is survived by: his close friend Fair; his son David Pinard Sr.; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Pinard; his grandsons, David Pinard Jr. (Robin Pinard) and Shawn Pinard; his great grandchild Jacob Pinard; his son Michael Pinard; his daughter-in-law Lynda Pinard; his grandsons, Mark Loranger (Leah Loranger), Nicholas Pinard and Christopher Pinard; his great grandchildren, Ashley Eaton and Travis Loranger; his daughter Renee Nicholls; his son-in-law Tim Nicholls; his granddaughter Sarah Nicholls; and his siblings, Roseanna Harrington and Louis Pinard (Elaine).
