He was predeceased by: his parents, Paula C. Lavoie (Durocher) and Armand G. Lavoie; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Beaunoyer and Joseph Rheault. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Lavoie (Deborah) of Hooksett, Roger Lavoie of Manchester, George Lavoie (Linda) of Manchester, John Lavoie (Frances) of Manchester, Denise Beaunoyer of Manchester, Donna Rheault of Manchester and Albert Lavoie (Rebecca) of Dover. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
