He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mourgenos and Priscilla Mourgenos (Robillard); and his siblings, William Mourgenos and Nicolette Mourgenos Leatham. He is survived by: his sister Palma Smith; his niece Kimberly Alty (Joseph); and his great-niece Shannon Alty.
